Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Cloud Architect to support our Huntsville, AL location.

Perfect candidate is seasoned in cloud architecture and will play a pivotal role in shaping our customers cloud strategy and infrastructure. Will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions to join our ambitious team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in cloud services architecture, deployment, and management, particularly within secure and compliant environments. Prior experience with cARMY migration and acheiving an ATO is a plus.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based architectures, ensuring they meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance standards.
• Architect solutions within Azure Government Cloud and O365 GCC High environments, ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53, 800-171, and other relevant standards.
• Engage with clients to define cloud strategies, understand requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Spearhead the integration and deployment of cloud services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
• Establish direct communication lines with DOD commands and other agencies to navigate cloud service approvals and achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) for cloud environments.
• Utilize industry-preferred tools for software security analysis and secure software solutions, contributing to the secure software scanning capability.
• Manage cloud environment solutions, ensuring effective requirement elicitation, prioritization, and project alignment with client needs.
• Provide expertise in Azure Cloud, FedRAMP standards, and Scrum Master responsibilities, driving project success and agile methodology adoption.
• Extensive experience as a Cloud Architect with a strong portfolio of successful cloud architecture designs and deployments.
• Expert knowledge of cloud technologies and current computing trends, especially Azure Cloud and O365 GCC High environments.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage secure, high-performing, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in leading cloud solutions teams and projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
• Travel: 10 %
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Cloud certifications a plus.
